O2 Sensor

Oxygen sensor for the measurement of oxygen concentration in furnace atmospheres

O2 Oxygen Sensor Features

Online oxygen measurement places significantly higher demands on sample handling compared to hydrogen measurement.
Since the measuring cell is installed outside the reaction chamber, the oxygen must be transported reliably to the measuring point in order to accurately reflect the actual process conditions.

Our solution addresses this challenge directly: a specially developed gas-guidance and atmosphere-renewal unit ensures that the process gas composition is continuously and controllably conveyed to the heated, modified zirconia measuring cell. This enables stable, reproducible, and realistic oxygen measurement in continuous operation—even under demanding conditions.

This innovative method allows precise online detection of the oxygen concentration directly at the retort and represents a reliable alternative to conventional measurement methods.

Note: The sensor is not suitable for carburizing processes.
