If possible bring your own notebook along. If this is not possible, a training PC can be used.
Notebook minimum requirements for SE-5xx training:
■ Operating systems: Windows 2000 or Windows XP
■ Hardware: Each computer, that is suitable for the mentioned operating systems, CD-ROM drive,
minimum one free serial interface for communication with STANGE SE-4xx and SE-5xx
instruments
Notebook minimum requirements for SE-6xx training:
■ Operating systems: Windows 2000 or Windows XP
■ Required software: MS Office 2000 or later (Excel)
■ Paint program for picture creation in PCX format (e.g. Paint Shop Pro or
UltimatePaint trail version (http://www.ultimatepaint.com/))
Notebook minimum requirements for ECS 2000 training:
■ Operating systems: XP-Professional SP2, MS-Internet Explorer 6 or later,
approx. 500 MB free disk space on hard drive (for the installation)
■ Hardware: Each computer, that is suitable for the mentioned operating system, DVD-ROM drive,
approx. 500 MB free disk space on hard drive (for the installation)
- minimum one free serial interface for communication with STANGE SE-4xx and SE-5xx
instruments
- Ethernet interface for communication with STANGE SE-6xx instruments
- minimum Pentium III 1.2 GHz, 512MB main memory
■ Screen resolution: minimum 800 x 600 (recommended 1024x768) with HiColor / 16Bit
■ File system: NTFS is required as file system
In case of a project-oriented training, all available information like connection diagrams, P&IDs as well as visualization concepts, should be brought along to the training.
